Antigua St. John's - A female employee of the Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB) was accused of stepping the bounds of her employment and authority.
Caribarena has learned that the senior female employee has been chasing after busmen operating from the West Bus Station to deal with matters that fall within the purview of Traffic Police.
It was revealed that the employee has been positioning herself at non-designated Stops where passengers were known to wait for buses.
It was also reported that the female employee was now stalking bus drivers at the entrance to the Antigua State College at Golden Grove.
Bus drivers and passengers saw this as aggravating and called on the authorities to caution the overzealous employee.
Police Sergeant, Ivor Lawrence was said to have previously warned her that she was stepping beyond her duties.
Efforts to get a response from manager of the Transport Board Harry Josiah were unsuccessful.
A prominent member of the society confirmed that he had personally reported his observations to Traffic Commissioner Vere Browne.
